Rev. Beck's Library

The Reverend John L. Beck is a retired Southern Baptist minister with over 35 years of preaching, teaching and counseling. He is a graduate of Augusta College with a Bachelors in Sociology and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Religious Education. His ministry took him from Arlington, Texas to Williston, Dalzell, Hardeeville and Andrews, South Carolina and Hephzibah, Georgia (from where he retired in 2008 after 25 years!). In addition to his preaching, he also taught Old and New Testament classes for Truett-McConnell College. His library includes 100s of titles including selections from his mentor, the Reverend Len Corder. I am honored to share these titles with the book-loving world, mostly because I am honored to call him "Dad".
The lovely lady by his side in the photo of the collection and life is Linda P. Beck, his rock and my mother!
